Seven talented Elwood-John H. Glenn High School student-musicians – Louise Hartough (bass), Aaleshan Jamal (trombone), Olivia LoBue (voice), Kaylee Mossey (voice), Bella Ronai (viola), Angelica Viviani (voice) and Irena Yeung (violin) – were recently selected by the New York State Council of Administrators of Music Education for placement in this year’s All-County ensembles. The NYSCAME performance will take place on Nov. 14 at Hauppauge High School.
In addition, Mossey earned selection to the New York State School Music Association’s All-State Chorus, and will perform at the NYSSMA Winter Conference in Rochester this December.
“These prestigious selections are a testament to the hard work, dedication and talent of our students,” Assistant Principal Lindsay Fritch said. “We are incredibly proud to celebrate their outstanding achievements and look forward to hearing about their performances.”
