Elwood-John H. Glenn High School is proud to announce that 36 students from the school have been recognized by the College Board for their exceptional achievement on the 2025 Advanced Placement Exams, earning the prestigious AP Scholar designation. The AP Program recognizes high school students who have demonstrated college-level achievement through AP courses and exams, and this recognition reflects the Elwood School District’s ongoing commitment to increasing student access to challenging academic work.
The list of AP Scholars includes students who achieved three distinct levels of distinction.
A total of 24 students qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award, the top level, by earning an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of three or higher on five or more of these exams, including seniors Taleah Angus, Camila Avila, Peter Bell, Elizabeth Benavides, Magdalena Brchnel, JJ Milan Espinal, Katelynn Fratarcangeli, Andrew Fuchs, David Futeran, Ava Haddad, Aaleshan Jamal, Nidhi Kamatkar, Raim Kim, Gavin Krivoshey, Kali Marketos, Brianna Mauro, Jeffrey Peng, Riley Perinchief, Khoshal Rametra, Emma Rothleder, Christopher Scarola, Ishan Shah, Reema Singh and Samantha Williamson
A total of 12 students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of three or higher on four or more of these exams, including seniors Laila Daly, Max Feinman, Shane Keevan, Rocco Lauto, Jonathan Lim, Walidaad Malhi, Christopher Mascia, Abigail Millien, Daniella Rehren, Jaxson Sachs, Abigail Song and Juyoung Yang.
A total of 12 students qualified for the AP Scholar Award by earning scores of three or higher on three or more AP Exams, including seniors Louise Hartough, Marissa John, Kayden Johnson, Aidan Lee, Catherine Lin, Olivia LoBue, Kailee Orndorff, Jake Piacentini, Marisa Scardino, Taylor Tremaroli and Yannick Valverde, and junior Mateu Rayo Trager.
