Nearly 140 members of Elwood-John H. Glenn High School’s Class of 2029 were welcomed to freshman orientation on the morning of Aug. 28. During the event, the newest Knights first met the administrative team, who helped them discover all the exciting opportunities the high school has to offer. After the talk, the incoming ninth graders toured the school with upperclassmen volunteering as Freshman Mentor Buddies, helping smooth the transition from middle school.

“Our freshman orientation program was a very successful experience,” Interim Principal Irene McLaughlin said. “This class is energetic and excited about becoming John Glenn Knights and we can’t wait to see what they will accomplish this year.”
